The Choice is Yours
Philosophical and Artistic Exploration

You have the choice:

Learn from the experience,
or let it defeat you.

Make an ally,
or make an enemy.

Wisely use your resources,
or waste your chances.

Listen and consciously decide,
or be enslaved by reaction.

Open your heart and mind,
or reject opportunity.

Raise your voice in question,
or passively accept.

Seize the day,
or put it off yet again.

Grow and prosper,
or stagnate and decline.

The choice is yours.

"The strongest principal of growth
lies in human choice."
--Mary Ann Evans
(a.k.a.George Eliot)

The power to choose is a luxury we hold when we function as thinking human beings.
However, the power to choose is also a responsibility.

These pages are dedicated to the exploration of choice--
of values, ideals, beliefs, lifestyles and perception.

What will you choose?

Each of us will leave a mark.
What will yours
be?
One day, I opened my blinds and the world looked different-- not because I had changed so much, but because I had started to announce who I was.

Of every brave act that has ever been performed,

Of every danger that has ever been confronted,

Of every conflict that has torn away our cells,

Of every wonder we believe life offers,

Nothing is so courageous, dangerous, painful,

powerful or amazing

as living the naked self.

May that self inspire all.
I really don't care if Thoreau was only camping out in his back yard.

It still had to be quieter than my house.
The ultimate honor is knowing you have worked to your fullest capacity.
